what i think me and Blanca did a good job on was our backgrouds, and just how we presented ourselves in the video. I really liked watching the video when it was all completed. Parts that i really liked in the video were how we were having a conversation and that our video was short and sweet. We took awhile on editing the video just because we needed help on some of the things that we have never done before such as a 'split screen'. When we were looking for music for the video it didn't really take us that long because we found one that we really liked quickly. Music flowed alot in our video, i know we did well on keeping the volume appropriate at times when it needed to be. when i saw other groups do things like have a random funny part i thought that looked really cool and wished i did something like it.What we did to create the video was we used green screen and used backgrrounds that fit the scene that we were supose to be in.
what i did to help my partner was when she'd be editing the video i'd tell her my ideas and she'd change it if she thought it was a good idea too. My partner helped me when it was time to switch when we were working on premiere pro because i am not that good at it. What i would do differently would probably be fixed the ending. clean it up because that was our weakest part of the video. I would of made it more exciting too.

5 Things.

One thing i learned was to not make the music so loud when other people are talking like during an interview. I also learned that you could make a serious video funny by adding in little clips, i think this attracts the audiences attention. Things i noticed during peoples videos were how good their choice of music was and how much it could fit the mood about the point they are trying to make, that definatley caught my eye and im sure it did to others. Another thing i learned was cyberbullying happens alot on facebook, i really liked how this one group mentioned that a couple times because alot of teenagers have facebook. This really drew out the message where cyberbully happens. I really liked the credits on most of the videos because the music was sad so it made me leave my seat thinking about the situation. It basically changed my mood that i was in. I liked how the music on some videos was very pumped up in places that were really necessary. In this one video the ending showed a boy walking away, this made me really think about many things because it could symbolize more then one thing, some of the things it could symbolize are he could of been "walking away"from cyberbullying or how cyberbullying will cause a negative effect on a person so they end up leaving life. Also in this video it was very eyecatching because there was a scene where Mr Vela brought somebody to the office. This showed that ifyou cyberbully you can get introuble at school for it. Alot of these videos really gave me ideas for my group.

Titles workshop

This is an example of an overlay title, which means import these clips into your Premiere Pro file, and dragging the clip into the timeline. You can do this by creating a title to appear before the clip.You might use this kind of title before the horse jump and after showing who the person was.

overlay and insert exporting project.

This is an example of an insert edit. An insert edit places a clip in between the clips. To do this, you insert the clip while holding control. I decided to insert the 2nd clip where I did because it made sence, and it overlayed.

We kindof messed up a little bit on the introduction because some words got cut off, but we thought it looked cool. I think we did good on not having alot of people say "one thing i like about being a baler". I think i'm getting better at editing videos. I did a good job of setting the right in-points and out-points. If i could do this project over i'd make it a little longer and have more people. On my next project i need to remember to make the credits look more understandable, and i would like to learn how to make the persons voice sound the same. One way i helped my partner was importing and outporting our video. My partner helped me by saving the video after it was complete. On this project i gained a better idea about how we can make some poeple say different things to make it seem more interesting, what helped me figure this out was how boring it sounded when people said the same thing. One challenged we faced was how to find the video to export on to youtube. We over came this because Dr.A helped us.

8/25/11 REFLECTION

What i learned was how to upload my video on you tube. Then i had time left over to do the enritchment project which taught me to use dissolve effect.
